Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed he will leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season with his last game at the Parc des Princes against Nantes.
The PSG legend has earlier indicated that he would quit the club at the end of the season then claimed a contract extension was possible but he seems to have set his mind on leaving the club.
The striker, who was named France’s Player of the Year for a record third time on Sunday, is out of contract this summer. And in a message on his official Twitter account, Ibrahimovic said: “My last game tomorrow [Saturday] at Parc des Princes. I came like a king, left like a legend.”
The 34 year old Sweden international will leave PSG having won four consecutive Ligue 1 titles, most recently this season, and as the club’s all-time record goalscorer and has scored 36 Ligue 1 goals this season.
In February he hinted at a Premier League switch with Manchester United pointed as a possible destination: “Yes, there is interest. I can confirm that but we have to see where it leads.”
