Gigi Hadid is the new face on Vogue Arabia Magazine

Saudi Arabian princess and full-fledged street style star, Deena Aljuhani Abdulaziz, has been the glam of Vogue Arabia, but today, Gigi Hadid has taken over, she broke the news to her 30-plus million Instagram followers that she landed the cover of the inaugural issue.

In a personal message on her post, the half-Palestinian model said, “I think the beautiful thing about their being international Vogue’s is that, as a fashion community, we are able to celebrate, and share with the world, different cultures.” The cover image was shot by the famous duo of Inez and Vinoodh and styled by designer Brandon Maxwell, who’s an outspoken advocate of inclusivity in fashion.

“I hope that this magazine will show another layer of the fashion industry’s desire to continue to accept, celebrate, and incorporate all people & customs,” Hadid also wrote, “and make everyone feel like they have fashion images and moments they can relate to… & learn and grow in doing so.”
