NYSC To Begin 2026 Batch B Stream I Orientation June 10

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the Orientation Course for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I will commence on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

This will include the reception and registration of prospective corps members across the country.

In a statement released on Thursday and signed by Caroline Embu, the Director of Information and Public Relations, the NYSC stated that registration will close at midnight on Friday, June 12, in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

Additionally, the swearing-in ceremony for prospective corps members mobilised for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I service year will also take place on Friday, June 12.

The orientation exercise is scheduled to conclude on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

The NYSC wished all mobilised Nigerian graduates safe travels to their respective orientation camps nationwide and has reiterated its warning against night travel.

Prospective corps members are advised to cease their journeys by 6 PM and to spend the night at available accommodations such as corps members’ lodges, military formations, police stations, outposts, or the palaces of traditional rulers before continuing their travels the following morning.
