AI Multimedia Academy has successfully graduated 90 young creatives under the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) and King’s Trust International (KTI) Get Into Employability Programme, marking a significant milestone in youth empowerment, skills development, and workforce readiness across Lagos State.
The graduation ceremony, held on December 3, 2025, at Ogba, Lagos, brought together graduates, programme supporters, placement partners, and key stakeholders from the creative and employability ecosystem.
In her address, the Executive Secretary of LSETF, Mrs. Feyisayo Alayande, congratulated the graduates and encouraged them to seize opportunities in Nigeria’s rapidly expanding digital and creative economy. She reiterated the commitment of LSETF to support initiatives that build capacity, reduce unemployment, and empower Lagos youth to compete locally and globally.
The six-week intensive training programme equipped participants with marketable skills in Graphic Design, Video Editing, Digital Marketing, and AI Creative Applications, followed by a three-month paid internship phase across notable creative firms including iBrandTV, Content Krush, and Em-Network.
Many graduates shared inspiring success stories, including individuals who secured full-time roles, contract engagements, and freelance opportunities immediately after their internship. One participant, who began the programme unemployed and attended training daily with her infant, has now secured paid employment – a testimony to resilience, inclusiveness, and the programme’s impact.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ademola Akitoye, CEO of AI Multimedia Academy, stated:
“This programme has proven that when empowerment meets structure, young people excel. Our graduates are not just trained – they are prepared, positioned, and ready for industry.”
Participating employers received Letters of Appreciation from LSETF in recognition of their support and commitment to nurturing emerging creative talent.
The programme was designed not only to build skills but also to boost workplace readiness, confidence, professionalism, and entrepreneurship, contributing meaningfully to reducing unemployment rates among youth in Lagos.
