1000 Youths Get N500m Tech Scholarship

Dare Adeboye Foundation, with The Incubator Nigeria, has concluded first edition of Future Clan Bootcamp, a seven-day tech training for over 1000 youths .

Beneficiaries got scholarship worth almost half a billion naira.

This initiative is to equip young individuals with skills in content and copywriting, data analysis, cybersecurity, product design, AWS Cloud Computing, and web development, empowering them to become ambassadors of change in their communities.

The closing on June 1 at Redemption City of God, Ogun State, was attended by Continental Overseer of RCCG Continent 3, Pastor J. F. Odesola; Chairman of Board of Trustees, Pastor Oluwagbemileke Adeboye; Executive Director of Africa Missions Global, Mrs. Eyono Fatayi-Williams; Executive Director of The Incubator, Oluwafemi Oyetunde, and others.

Odesola urged graduates to embrace their roles as pioneers of digital transformation. “Embrace your roles as pioneers of digital transformation…use your skills to innovate, solve real problems, and create a better future for all,” he said.

Programmes Manager for Dare Adeboye Foundation, Wale Olatujoye, noted the need to leverage technology as a levelling ground to bridge developmental gap in Nigeria.

Mrs Fatayi-Williams said the partnership between Africa Missions Global and The Incubator will impact 10 million by 2033.

The Incubator Nigeria plan, including establishing growth centres, incubating talents, and organising hackathons and tech exhibitions to foster a vibrant ecosystem for the young.

Oyetunde appreciated participants, partners, facilitators, and The Incubator Nigeria team.
