Management of University of Benin has said its 1st Federalism Lecture instituted by its Vice Chancellor, Prof. Edoba Omoregie, would be delivered by the Director General, Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA), Prof. Eghosa Osaghae.
It said the lecture was being organised by the newly-established Centre for Federalism and Democratic Studies.
A statement by spokesman for the institution, Dr. Benedicta Ehanire, said the lecture titled: “Federalism: the Paradigm of a Turning Centre”, would draw personalities from the academia, government and other spheres.
The statement said Prof. Omoregie would preside at the event scheduled to hold on August 5 at Akin Deko Auditorium, University of Benin, Ugbowo Campus.
