Senator Oluremi Tinubu Distributes 250 GCE Forms for Students in Lagos
Senator Oluremi Tinubu representing Lagos Central under the platform of APC, yesterday Friday, 17th June, 2016 distributed 250 General Certificate of Education (GCE) forms to students in order for them enroll for the examination and further their studies.
This magnanimous act by Senator Tinubu was executed at a Town Hall Meeting in Lagos with the theme: “Creating Purposeful Partnership.’’. According to her, the initiative is to bring the government closer to the people as well as appreciating the partnership and support of her constituency.
“The purpose of this gathering, among other things, is to bring the government closer to the people. Your cooperation and partnership over the years has been purposeful as elders, men, women and youth,” she said.
While giving account of her stewardship in the senate, she disclosed that she belonged to six different committees, amongst which are Tertiary Institutions and TETFUND, Women Affairs, Environment, Air Force, Employment, Labour and Productivity and others.
“I will continue to give my constituency a great voice in the senate and be a representative you can trust and count on,’’ she said.
She added that all hands must be on deck, in works and in prayers to achieve the new Nigeria that we voted for.
“I implore you to keep your unwavering confidence and faith in this nation and in the present government as we are all in the planting season and sooner there shall be bountiful harvest,’’ she said.
