Never say never. Selena Gomez has decided to forgive her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber after he reached out to her mom following her kidney transplant. Selena had cut off all contact with the pop singer after their breakup, but that has since changed. Sources reveal exclusively to Life & Style that Selena, 25, and Justin, 23, are back in each other’s lives. While her boyfriend The Weeknd is not thrilled about the renewed relationship, there is nothing romantic going on between the pair. Selena, adds the insider, “is telling friends she believes she and Justin are adults now and can finally be friends.” They even apologized for their “high school behavior” toward one another.
A lot has passed since Justin and Selena have broken up. Along with her kidney transplant last month, Selena also spent 90 days in rehab to deal with issues including anxiety and depression. She recently opened up about the experience, admitting she was scared. “I went away for 90 days, and it was the best thing that I ever could’ve done,” she told InStyle. “I had no phone, nothing, and I was scared. But it was amazing, and I learned a lot.”
She continued, “And it was hard, obviously. But I knew what my heart was saying, and I thought, ‘OK, I think this has helped me become stronger for other people.'”
As for Justin, he recently canceled his world tour for his well-being. “I’ve learned the more you appreciate your calling the more you want to protect your calling,” he wrote on Instagram. “Me taking this time right now is me saying I want to be SUSTAINABLE… so that I can be the man I want to be, the husband I eventually want to be, and the father I want to be.
