The Imo Police Command has announced the arrest of eight suspects in connection with the arson attack on the National Open University Centre in Ehime Mbano Local Government Area.
The centre, including the building of a former Senator of Okigwe North, Senator Frank Ibezim, was set ablaze on Monday by 9 pm.
Imo Police spokesman Henry Okoye said: “I am pleased to announce that over eight suspects have been arrested in connection with the arson incidents in Ehime Mbano. Investigations are ongoing.”
He assured that more details will be communicated in due course.
