ELLA MAI CLOSES UP ON BEYONCE, ACHIEVES RADIO CHARTS MILESTONE NOT REACHED SINCE BEYONCÉ IN 2012

DJ Mustard discovered protege Ella Mai on Instagram and she is now taking over the R&B charts!

“Boo’d Up” has become a serious contender for Song of the Summer and the track is also Ella’s first smash hit. The original track has peaked at #5 on the Hot 100 and was remixed by Nicki Minaj and Migos group member Quavo. Mai is further proving her dominance and charting power on multiple charts.

Billboard has reported that “Boo’d Up” is sitting atop the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop,  R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay and Adult R&B Songs charts. This makes the young British singer the first woman to acquire the triple win since Beyoncé’s “Love On Top” in 2012. The song is also in the Top 5 of the R&B/Hip-Hop Digital Song Sales, Rhythmic Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts.
