Pantone revealed its color of 2019 yesterday. It’s called “living coral” a melange of orange and blush tones with hints of sherbet, if you haven’t already heard—though it seems that Gigi Hadid clearly got the memo. Seen out on streets of New York City earlier today, Hadid was dressed head to toe in the distinctive hue.
The street style-savvy model has always had taste for bold monochromatic dressing. She picked up Millennial Pink back in 2017, long before it was even a thing. (She has a soft spot for sky blue, too.)
To pull off the eye-popping look, Hadid leaned on a reliable street style maneuver, casually slinging her Moschino coat over her shoulders and braving the chilly winds in a plunging, décolleté-revealing blouse. Take a closer look, and you’ll find that there were subtle details to sweeten the tangy palette of her Ronald van der Kemp-designed ensemble as well, including lace trim on her trousers and floral-print Louboutin heels.
