Foundation Distributes Free UTME Forms To 200 Students

A non-governmental organisation (NGO), Ejalonibu Foundation, yesterday distributed free Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) forms to 200 students in Badagry, Lagos State.

Addressing reporters, the founder of the foundation, Mr Wusu Ejalonibu, said the gesture was to encourage education development in Badagry and Lagos State in general.

He said every year; the NGO gave free UTME forms to interested students to encourage youths in their future endeavours.

Ejalonibu added: “Also, we organise pre-UTME training to prepare students sitting for the examination so that they won’t be jittery during the exercise.

 “Besides, the foundation rewards students who score high marks, when the results are released.

“We reward any student intending to study Medicine, Law, Mass Communication and Education, who perform excellently in UTME, by giving them scholarships.“As a responsible and responsive NGO, we take education as one of our priorities. No country can develop without educating its citizens.’’

He advised youths to take their studies seriously if they wanted to accomplish their future ambitions.

Mr Olawale Akintola, the proprietor of Meritland College, Badagry, enjoined students to follow the directives by the examination body while filling the forms so that they would not be disqualified.

Alhaji Tajudeen Yusuf, an elder, admonished them to pay attention to the instructions given them during the examination.
