Ekiti gov, Oyebanji, lauds Glo strides in Nigeria  


Niyi Odejobi, Enterprise Business Lead, Globacom, presenting a gift pack to Governor Abiodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State at a meeting the governor had with the Glo team in Ado Ekiti, last week.


Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Abiodun Oyebanji, recently received the Enterprise Sales team of telecommunications services provider, Globacom, during which he gave kudos to the company for flying the country’s flag high.


Describing the network as the leader in the telecommunications sector in Nigeria, Governor Oyebanji said, “Globacom is our own and a good ambassador of this country as far as telecommunications services are concerned”.


He equally lauded the Chairman of Globacom Ltd, Dr Mike Adenuga Jr., for his sterling contributions to Nigeria and the economy in general.


At the business meeting held at the state secretariat, Ado Ekiti, the governor assured the team of the readiness of the Ekiti State Government to do business with the company.


According to him, the state would partner with Globacom, especially in the areas of building a digital economy and fibre connectivity services to take the state to greater heights and empower more of its youths.


Leader of the Glo team, Adeniyi Odejobi, said Globacom was not only a total digital solutions provider but also the largest integrated telecommunications service provider in Nigeria servicing enterprises, large corporates, public sector organizations, SMEs and millions of individuals all over Nigeria.


He disclosed that Glo had for over two decades pioneered revolutionary changes in the telecommunications industry for the benefit and empowerment of Nigerians.
