Ayra Starr’s Brother Milar, Others Become Mavin Acts

Mavin Records has boosted its enormous pool of talents with the recent activation of Ayra Starr’s brother, Milar and five other acts into the record label.

This activation, which launched producers and songwriters from the label’s academy, was announced by Don Jazzy on social media with a video featuring the newly activated acts namely Milar, Andre Vibez, Jvxn, Mbryo, Sevn and Prestige.

Don Jazzy noted these newly unveiled acts were Mavin’s way of giving back the creatives behind the scenes.

He said: ” Mavin is backing new storytellers and sound men that would redefine the sound of Afrobeats.”

Captioning the video of the new activated acts, the Mavin boss wrote: “Creating beautiful music takes talented people coming together. Producers and songwriters are the backbones of the much celebrated artists.

“Mavin is taking the lead to celebrate these geniuses who without them the music is not complete.

Though, the six acts are just being activated into the mainstream music scene, however, some have already made indelible impression in the industry.

Andre Vibez for one, produced Ayra Starr’s recent hit single, “Rush”

He also co-produced Rema’s “Calm Down”

While Milar, who’s Ayra Starr’s younger brother, a songwriter, has co-written several of her songs such as “Bloody Samaritan”, whose remix was released on Wednesday September 28 and saw the feature of American veteran songstress, Kelly Rowland.

The list also includes Fashion Killer, Beggie Beggie and more.

For Prestige, he is the producer behind newly signed Mavin Records star, Bayanni’s smash track, “Ta Ta Ta.”
