Ariana Grande paid a touching tribute to her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller on Instagram last night, posting a photo of herself wearing what appears to be his sweater while cuddling his dog.
The post came as musicians like Travis Scott and John Mayer paid tribute to the late rapper at the Mac Miller: A Celebration Of Life concert in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. Of course, it’s possible this isn’t the exact sweater Mac wore, but fans seem to think it’s an intentional way of honoring his memory, as Ariana didn’t appear to attend the concert.
Ariana clearly has Mac on her mind, because she also recently shared a sweet video of him getting ready for Madonna’s Oscars party. In the video, Ariana’s grandmother helps with his tuxedo jacket while Mac flashes her a grin:
Ariana previously spoke about about her ex’s passing on Instagram, writing, “I adored you from the day I met you when i was nineteen and I always will. I can’t believe you aren’t here anymore. I really can’t wrap my head around it. We talked about this. so many times. I’m so mad, I’m so sad I don’t know what to do. You were my dearest friend. for so long. above anything else.”
