AFRIMMA Sets To Hold On November from 10th -12th, Organisers Release Regional Nominations List
The 4th All Africa Music Awards ”AFRIMA” is set to take place in Lagos come November 10th-12th in Lagos Nigeria as her 13-man Jury and the African Union Commission unveil 2017 Nominees list a few days ago at the Renaissance Hotel, Ikeja in Lagos, Nigeria.
Public voting commences from August 21, 2017 on www.afrimma.org . Nominations were picked from over 4,816 entries submitted at the close of the two month entry submission window having met the criteria for nomination which include; production quality, talent, creativity, melody, originality, authenticity, composition and arrangement.
The African Union Commission partnership with AFRIMMA is geared towards investing in the youth by involving them in the African Union’s 2063 Agenda, which intends to make the youth evolve a desire and expertise in the needed developmental facets of Africa in all areas She also reiterated the AU and AFRIMA’s objectives of unity among African artistes and the need for continental integration while celebrating its rich music and heritage.
Nominations list of The Best Female Artistes and Best Male Artistes of the five regions have been released while the nominees in the continental categories shall be announced in due course
