Nas has announced that applications are open for his Nasir Jones Hip-Hop Fellowship at the W.E.B. Du Bois Research Center at Harvard University for the 2026-2027 school year.
Beginning in 2013, Nas joined with the prestigious university for the fellowship program, which is intended for “both scholars and artists who demonstrate exceptional capacity for increased scholarship and exceptional creative ability in the arts in connection with hip-hop.”
Each year, 20 people are chosen to participate in projects relating to art, design, hip-hop, creative writing, African American studies and more. The deadline to apply is Jan. 30.
