Tuteria Rewards Top UTME Student With N1m Scholarship

Tuteria student, Olumuyiwa Omolaja, who scored 341 in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has been awarded a N1m scholarship by the platform.

The announcement comes as Tuteria marks 10 years since its inception, a decade of helping students prepare for critical exams such as UTME, West African Examination Council, National Examination Council, and SAT, among others.

This was disclosed in a press release made available to the press on Tuesday.

Omolaja is one of 49 students who participated in Tuteria’s online JAMB preparation programme.

The second and third-highest scores recorded by Tuteria students were 338 and 317 respectively.

Tuteria awarded scholarships to its top three performers, with N1m going to the highest scorer, N500,000 to the second, and N250,000 to the third.

Omolaja expressed gratitude to the tutors for their commitment to guiding and helping the students prepare for their exams.

Omolaja said, “I never knew the sleepless nights would pay off this much. I’m grateful to my tutors for guiding me and helping me prepare well.”

The CEO and co-founder of Tuteria, Godwin Benson, stressed that the outstanding performance of the students was reflective of the student’s academic strength and Tuteria instructors’ personalised approach.

“This year’s JAMB results are a powerful testament to the resilience of our students and the impact of Tuteria’s personalised instruction,” Benson said.

The statement reiterated the remarkable achievement despite the nationwide difficulties faced by candidates nationwide.

“In total, 26 students from Tuteria’s online cohort scored above 200, a significant achievement given the reported difficulties faced by candidates nationwide,” it stated.
