Somtee, a dedicated Physiotherapy student at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, is committed to healthcare and an accomplished saxophonist with a deep love for contemporary jazz and gospel music. His debut concert, Urban Jazzscape, highlights his passion for music and his mission to inspire audiences with soulful, uplifting sounds. Alongside his musical talent, Somtee is skilled in branding and design, merging creativity with a heart for service.
“Music is a form of healing, and Urban Jazzscape is my way of giving thanks and celebrating life’s beautiful moments with those who appreciate the power of music,” says Somtee. “I’m delighted to bring this event to life on the Turaka Rooftop, creating an experience that’s as timeless as it is inspiring.”
Urban Jazzscape will feature a dynamic lineup, including live saxophone performances by Somtee, comedic interludes, interactive games, and a curated selection of gourmet food and drinks. The evening’s programme opens with a red carpet at 5:00 p.m., setting the tone for an elegant affair, followed by the main event at 6:00 p.m.
