YABATECH Students Honour Geoffrey Orji 2014 MTN Project Fame Winner

Geoffrey Orji the 2014 MTN Project Fame winner was mobbed at Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) Akoka, Lagos where he was invited as a guest speaker and addressed over 1500 students and friends of the institution that converged at the Multi Purpose Hall for the official launch of Yabatech Magazine.

Geoffrey who came in at around 2.15pm, shut down the building as he was held down by students who showed him much love, since they have already being waiting to see him.

He was discretely ushered out of the event centre due to the over crowd who wanted to take selfie with him.

Geoffrey who happens who reportedly dropout of the college, where he was studying Estate Management to pursue his music career was surprise by the response of the crowd. He promised the students that he would come to host a show in the college soonest.

Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, an alumnus of the college who revealed as the personality that graced the cover of the magazine when Dr. Ajibola unveiled the magazine, being the first of its kind in on the campus.

Other guests are Fliptyce, Mary Alimi of Radio Continental, O.T. Raheem, Dean Students Affairs Yaba College of Technology, Dr. Mrs. Doherty, Dr. Ajibola, Owen Gee, and former Miss Ekiti Sade Akinbowale amongst others.

Ohore Emmanuel who gave the vote of thanks, appreciated God for a successful event and thanked the Rector Dr. (Mrs.) M. K. Ladipo, O.T Raheem, Dr. Charles Oni, Dr. Ajibola. He equally appreciated his team Samuel, Adegun, Zainab Ally, Simeon Ogbe, Kazak, Taiwo, Ilesanmi and others.
