New Bursar of Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, Dr. Olusola Dada, will resume office today with Registrar, Mrs Henrietta Adebola Badejo.
Acting Registrar, Dr E. J. A. Akinwale, said both appointments for a five-year tenure, were approved by the council.
Dada is from Efon Alaaye in Ekiti State and an alumnus of CAC Grammar School, Efon Alaaye and The Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti, and others.
An accountant, management and financial expert, he is a Fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria; Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria; Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountant of Nigeria.
With 30 years in polytechnic, university and private sectors, Dada received commendations on Proper Accounting Records on TETFund Activities; Computerisation and Digitalisation of the Bursary Department; Proper Accounting Returns, etc.
He was on the team that won $200,000 Ford Foundation grant into Yabatech for establishment of art museum as well as production of Sexual Harassment Policy; and $1,000,000 FCDO/UNICEF GESP grant for training 5,750 girls on TVET related skills.
