Water Scarcity among Students of UNILAG Students
The University of Lagos UNILAG community has for the past three days experienced water scarcity since there has not been supply from the Lagos State Water Corporation.
The University is currently relying on water supply from boreholes which is only a fraction of the water demand of the University. This latest development has resulted in acute shortage of water supply to the University community.
Engineers are currently working with the Lagos State Water Corporation to resolve the problem before the end of the week while efforts are being made to increase internal water supply capacity.
The inconveniences caused by the inadequate water supply is regretted by the Management as it’s urging members of the university community to bear with them.
