Dr Jasper E. Ikpesu, a lecturer/HSE Manager at Petroleum Training Institute, Effurun has been awarded Professor of Occupational Health and Safety by Highstone Global University, Texas, United States.
With this award, Ikpesu became the first Professor in the Institute since it was established.
The announcement was made at an event that took place at the University of Lagos on Saturday, 24th of August, 2024. Where Dr. Bumi.S Ovuru the Ag. Director of Services in PTI was also awarded Professor of Public Administration.
It was gathered that the two new Professors are working in the same Directorate. This academic heights attained by both staff of the Institute is said to be a good sign of great things ahead.
