
The management of Osun State University (Uniosun) has suspended policy banning students from cooking in its hostels for the new in-take.
The vice-chancellor of the institution, Professor Clement Adebooye made it known while addressing 6,000 new students during their matriculation programme held on campus.
The Nation recalled that Uniosun banned cooking by students in its hostel within school campus.
Adebooye said: “Students can now cook in school hostels to make life to be easy for you, the new in-take.
He added: “We uphold the values of integrity, discipline, and moral uprightness. Social vices such as examination malpractice, cultism, indecent dressing, drug abuse, sexual harassment, and truancy are vehemently condemned.”
