The University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, Umuagwo, Imo State, has announced the emergence of Dr Adumaya Obinna and Dr Uzodinma Emmanuel as acting Deputy Vice Chancellors of the university.
While Adumaya would serve as acting DVC for academics, Uzodinma would serve as acting DVC for administration.
The appointments were meant to further strengthen the university’s management and administration.
The University’s acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Christopher Eze, announcing the appointment, charged them to discharge their duties with gusto and to put every resource possible into achieving the common goals of the state governor, Senator Uzodinma, who conceived the vision of the university.
He also urged members of the staff of the institution to work hard to see that the newly appointed acting DVC achieve palpable results in office.

Adumaya and Uzodinma, having served excellently as Dean of Biological Sciences and Deputy Registrar respectively were said to have earned the love and trust of many.
It was also learnt that they have also shown capacity to function in their new positions of authority.
