Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Tolanibaj has said that you need to have a pity story to win the reality show.
Tolanibaj, who was evicted from the BBNaija All Stars season on August 26, 2023, made the revelation in her YouTube channel.
Tolanibaj explained that she did not play the pity card during her time in the house because she did not want to be seen as a victim. “If you want to win the show you need to have a pity story… but that’s not my character to want people to pity me”.
In addition to sharing her thoughts on what it takes to win the show, she also commented on her decision to skip the usual media tour after being evicted from the house. She said that she wanted to be selfish with her time and did not want to wake up early or do makeup for a week straight.
“I wanted to be selfish with my time, I did not want to wake up early for anybody, I did not want to do make-up for one week straight”. She said.
She also spoke about the argument she had with Cee-C and Ilebaye, and expressed regret about how she handled the situation. She said, “”How I handled it at the time made a lot of sense to me, if I could do things differently rather than exploding, I would have a conversation with them.”
Tolanibaj said that her goal on BBNaija All Stars was not to win the ₦120 million grand prize, but to have fun. She said that her game plan backfired, and that she did not go into the house with the intention of winning.
