Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour brought in over $2 billion in revenue, setting a new record as the highest-grossing concert tour ever.
To show her gratitude for the dedication and effort of her team, the 33-year-old singer generously distributed $197 million in bonuses across various members of her crew who helped pull off the 149 shows across five continents.
Swift distributed the bonuses to her massive tour team, including dancers, band, instrument techs, hair and makeup artists, wardrobe stylists, choreographers, security team, truck drivers, merchandise team, caterers, videographers, pyrotechnics techs and riggers, lighting and sound techs, production staff and assistants, carpenters and physical therapists behind-the-scenes technicians who ensured the tour ran smoothly, and the essential truck drivers responsible for transporting equipment from one venue to the next.
Among these recipients, around 50 truck drivers were each given a remarkable bonus of $100,000.
This significant amount was described by many as “life-changing,” highlighting the profound impact of Swift’s gesture on her hardworking crew.
As earlier reported, the record-setting trek grossed more than $2 billion and sold over 10 million tickets: $2,077,618,725 and 10,168,008, respectively, to be exact.
The superstar described the tour as the “most exciting, powerful, most challenging thing” she has ever done.
During her last concert, Swift had several surprises for her fans, including a special song (βA Place In This Worldβ) and mashups of some of her hits.
The “Eras Tour” was the highest-grossingΒ concert tour of all time. After kicking things off in Arizona in March 2023, Swift traveled to 50 cities to perform for fans. Each concert typically lasted around 3.5 hours and featured about 46 songs from her numerous albums.
