Taraba Governor Releases N4m for Payment of SSCE Fees
The Governor of Taraba State, Darius Ishaku, has approved the release of N4million for the payment of NECO and WAEC fees for all final year secondary school students in the state.
According toΒ the Commissioner for Education in the state, Mr. Johanies Jighem, the payment was part of effort by the governor’sΒ administration to revive the education sector in the state.
Jighem saidΒ the state government has also directed all secondary schools principals to summit a comprehensive report of condition of their respective schools.
He saidΒ that the report would enable the present administration to carry out renovation of dilapidated structures and provide the necessary materials.
Then commissionerΒ added that Governor Ishaku, who promised to rescue the state, said he would live no stone un-turned in developing all sectors of the stateβs economy.
