Samsung Partners Lagos On Tech Education

Samsung Nigeria has partnered with the Lagos State Government to empower students in key technologies.

The Managing Director of Samsung Nigeria, Charlie Lee, disclosed this during a press conference held at the Samsung office in Lagos recently.

He said the Samsung Innovation Campus would drive this ambitious initiative through the Lagos State Technical & Vocational Education Board.

Lee said, “The goal is to nurture participants to become the next-generation workforce.”

The Head of Service at Samsung, Ibukun Adewole, highlighted the company’s commitment to social responsibility in Nigeria, focusing on empowering initiatives in education.

Adewole noted the previous success of the Samsung Engineering Academy in Lagos, which provided skills training to students, resulting in numerous graduates securing positions at Samsung and other service centres.

“The Samsung Innovation Campus not only focuses on technological education but also offers soft skills training to enhance employability and practical application of knowledge,” Adewole said.
