River State University to hold Post UTME Ignoring FG Order                 By Uche Okonkwo

The Federal Government has recently announced the scrapping of the screening exercise usually conducted by universities for candidates who have completed the Joint Examination and Matriculation Board examination.

The Rivers State University has scheduled its screening exercise date despite the abolishment of post UTME by federal government. The Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu who said that the nation has confidence in what JAMB is doing. “The universities should not be holding another examination and if the universities have any complain let them bring it and then we will address it”.

Despite this, the Rivers State University, in an announcement signed by the Registrar, D.C Odimabo has released a date for conducting the examination.
