The Directorate of Research Management and Innovation, Lagos State University (LASU) has embarked on sensitisation visits to faculties in preparation for the Sixth LASU Research and Innovation Fair.
The team, led by the Director, DRMI, Prof. Adejuwon Adeneye, along with members of the Central Planning Committee on Monday, visited the Faculty of Management Sciences and the Faculty of Social Sciences.
The sensitisation visit was aimed at informing and engaging the Faculties on the upcoming Fair scheduled to take place in October this year at the university’s Main Campus in Ojo, Lagos. The Fair promises to be a remarkable gathering of researchers and innovators.
During the visit, Prof. Adeneye expressed his gratitude to the Faculty of Management Sciences (FMS) and the Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS) for their invaluable support in previous Fairs, while also appealing for an even greater level of involvement this year.
He provided a step-by-step guide to the registration process and assured a seamless experience for all participants.
Reflecting on the success of past Research Fairs, Prof. Adeneye expressed optimism for an even better and more outstanding Fair this year.
He extended his appreciation to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello and the entire management team for their unwavering support, which has made it possible for the university community to consistently participate in such transformative events.
The Deans of the Faculty of Management Sciences, Prof. Akanji Bankole, and the Faculty of Social Sciences, Prof. Adigun Lawal, expressed their gratitude to the university management and the Directorate for their continuous efforts in positioning Lagos State University in the forefront of Research and Innovation. They pledged their unwavering support to ensure the success of the Fair.
