President Buhari Applauds NDA at 51st Convocation
The Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, has praised the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA), Kaduna, for maintaining standards in their task of producing officers for the Armed forces.
Buhari made this known when he reviewed the Passing Out Parade of 409 Cadets, comprising 196 cadets of the 62 Regular Course and 213 cadets of Short Service Course 43 of the NDA, which held at the Permanent Site, Mando, Kaduna, recently.
The president said the successful training of cadets over the past 51 years is a clear manifestation of hard work and dedication by the administration and staff of the academy.
He said that the success over the years has shown that the institution has justified the wisdom and dreams of our founding fathers in establishing the institution.
While reaffirming his administration’s commitment to upholding the Rule of Law and the sustenance of Due Process, President Buhari, charged the Nigerian Military to be guided by strict adherence to extant laws of the country and the protection of the rights and dignity of her citizens.
On the ongoing operations against insurgents in parts of the country, the president expressed his government’s delight at the resolve of the armed forces to speedily end the insurgency facing the country once and for all.
He further pledged his administration’s support to providing the needed equipment and resources that would actualize this goal.
