Ondo Governor urges Corp Members to imbibe positively in their services
Ondo State Governor, Olusegun Mimiko today advised youth corps members to impact positively on their host communities. He said this at the closing ceremony of the Batch ‘B’ orientation programme of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in the state.
The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, Mr. Dayo Awude, urged corps members to always desire to excel.
He noted that the host communities would be expectant of what corps members would offer.
Mimiko also assured that his administration would continue to be responsive to the welfare of corps members.
“For those of you that pay particular attention to the development of your host communities by executing viable projects, such will not go unrewarded. “I should reassure you at this juncture that the people of the state are very hospitable and accommodating. “You will soon discover this through your association with them,” he concluded.
