Rapper Odumodublvck has revealed that Afrobeats star Rema provided N40 million to support his record ‘Pity This Boy’.
In a social media post on X, the rapper described the gesture as monumental, calling for it to be on record in Nigerian music history.
“Rema gave me 40 million naira to support ‘Pity This Boy’ record. 40 million naira. Write that down in Nigerian music folklore. The Machine,” he wrote.
Odumodublvck, known for gritty street anthems and unapologetic lyrical delivery, recently released Pity This Boy, a track already gaining traction on streaming platforms and social media.
The financial backing from Rema is expected to further boost the song’s visibility and impact within and beyond the Nigerian music space.
