It was a memorable moment for Nollywood rising actress, Funmi Awelewa a.k.a. Morili when the delectable actress was hosted by the Olubadan of Ibadan, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Akanmu Olasupo Adetunji (Aje Ogungunniso1).
The beautiful and highly talented actress paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan earlier today and she was warmly received by His Royal Majesty. The actress was at the palace to intimate the Olubadan about her upcoming movie project, Omo Ibadan, a production she was putting together to spotlight the ancient West African city.
The Olubadan was very happy to receive the actress and her crew who stormed the palace, and the monarch gave her his blessings and pledges his supports for her. The king described her concept as a noble one which he has no doubt will uplift the city on completion.
The pretty, witty and highly talented actress popularity is soaring by the day, thanks to the success recorded by her first self- produced comedy blockbuster movie, “Morili – Aromimawe”, which is fast becoming the favourite of many home video lovers.
