In this clime, there are some professions that are not so popular with the female gender, one of such is Truck Driving. There’s a young Nigerian lady who is following her passion and now getting due recognition for her efforts.
It was a very happy moment for Ademola Taiwo Omolade when she was recently honoured by the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (Lagos Area committee) and was awarded got due recognition as a professional female truck driver and most recognized female truck driver, not only in Nigeria but in Africa.
Highly elated Omolade who is popularly known on social media as Queen of The Road or OmoladeGold expressed her gratitude to the organization for the honour bestowed on her.
She took to her social media to express her joy:
I got recognized again by the NIGERIAN COUNCIL OF REGISTERED INSURANCE BROKERS (LAGOS AREA committee) I’m honored to be present there honestly, congratulations to me on my new award has a professional female truck driver and most recognized female truck not only Nigeria but In Africa.
Before this award, she was also recently honoured by the Oyo State Labour Veterans Association.
Speaking on her award:
“Honestly I have never for once regret of choosing this trucking as a career, everything is just GOD doings, it makes me famous and many awards have been received just because of being a female truck driver, now another award is here again by, OYO STATE LABOUR VETERANS ASSOCIATION”.
