The National Examinations Council (NECO) has announced the rescheduling of the 2023 National Common Entrance Examinations because of the low number of registered candidates.
The examination body said the extension would give states with few candidates the opportunity to register more candidates.
A statement yesterday by the Head of Information and Public Relations Division, Azeez Sani, noted that the examination for admission into Federal Unity Colleges would now hold on June 3 instead of the earlier April 29.
The statement reads: “The examination was rescheduled to allow states with low candidate registrations register more candidates. All candidates, parents, guardians, schools and relevant stakeholders are therefore enjoined to take note of the new examination date. Registration will continue till the new date of examination.”
