The Houston rapper officially launches Hot Girl Systems, a bold apparel collection made with all bodies in mind
Megan Thee Stallion has always been a motivator.
Whether she’s onstage giving a powerhouse performance or in the studio crafting a sure-to-be anthem, the Houston rap sensation has a way of making her fans believe they can do—well, anything. So when the star began sharing sneak peeks of her fitness and wellness routine online, her legions of Hotties wanted to know more, like whom she was training with, how she got started, and of course, what she was wearing. What started as a burgeoning partnership with Nike has now turned into the ultimate offering for Megan’s staunchest fans: Hot Girl Systems, an apparel line jointly produced by the two cultural juggernauts, and created with every body in mind.
“I needed to make sure the collection genuinely reflected my brand. I didn’t want to just slap my name and logo on a collection, so I collaborated with Nike to make sure my creative ideas were integrated into the pieces,” Megan tells Harper’s Bazaar. The 10-piece collection features sportswear staples like sports bras and biker shorts alongside streetwear standouts like a sleek long-sleeved bodysuit and a cropped bomber jacket. Select pieces, of course, feature red flame detailing that pays homage to the rapper’s “hot girl” persona.
“It was important for me to make it inclusive for all body types,” she says. “I want people to feel comfortable, confident, and stylish when they try on the collection.”
