The London Academy Business School has trained hundreds of students and professionals in Information Commmunication Technology (ICT) training.
The free training, which was onsite and online, kicked off on July 17, at its Lagos office and ended on July 28.
The training was based on three consecutive courses, namely: software development, data analytics and office applications.
One of the facilitators for data analytics, Kelechi Okara, said: “We put this together as a way of educating the young people out there so that they can have something valuable to give back to the society so that they can develop problem-solving skills to be able to solve real life problems beginning here with their various communities, residents and all. So, it is all about being able to make sense out of the data we have at our disposal to move the nation, the economy forward through our actions.”
One of the trainees said: “Actually, it is a beautiful one where we started the introduction and they gave us the options. So, we will be able to choose the one that will pertain with our line. So, of course, I chose data analytics and the class was awesome. I have learnt a lot.”
Also Mr. Emmanuel Romanus Cynthia, one of the staff members of the London Academy Business School, who was a co-facilitator for data analytics, said the training was opened to everybody – students, skilled and unskilled workers.
