LASU to Honour Oba Saeed Elegushi and Others with Doctorate Degree

As part of activities for its 26th Convocation , Lagos State University will confer  doctorate degree on Lagos traditional ruler, Oba Saheed Elegushi.

Speaking at a news conference, Vice Chancello, Prof Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, said Oba Elegushi, among other eminent Nigerians, are being honoured for their contributions to development of the university and humanity.

Ibiyemi noted the university is celebrating 40 years and it is a good time to honour individuals who contributed to development of the institution, making it a foremost institution for learning and development.

Other honourees slated for the June 22 event include former Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, former Lagos Deputy Governor, Adejoke Orelope and Senior Pastor of he Mountain of Fire Ministries, Kayode Olukoya.
