LASU Holds Special Senate Session for Late Former VC
The Lagos State University, LASU Senate today Wednesday, 9th March, 2016 held a special session in honour of a former Acting Vice Chancellor of the University, Late Prof. Ajibade Abayomi Rokosu, at the University Senate Chamber.
The late Prof. Rokosu, aged 75 years had also served meritoriously as Dean, Postgraduate School and Deputy Vice Chancellor respectively, while at the University.
In the meantime, the University Management had expressed her condolences to the family of the deceased and prayed God to grant the departed soul, eternal rest.
The funeral arrangements as announced by the family are as follow: Wake-keep on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the Yoruba Tennis Club, Onikan, Lagos by 5:00pm.
Then on Friday, March 11, 2016, there will be a Funeral mass at Holy Cross Cathedral by 10:00am followed by Internment at Ebony Vaults, Ikoyi, Lagos.
