LASU Bans Students Indecent Dressing on Campus
With the spate of rape and other sexually related crimes on the rise in Nigeria, the management of Lagos State University (LASU) has taken measures to stem the menace by banning indecent dressing on campus.
This was made known by the university Vice Chancellor, Prof. Lanre Fagbohun during a walk organised by the management of the institution for staff, union leaders, students and students’ union executives to campaign against cultism and indecent dressing at the University.
The VC stated that henceforth, students who do not dress properly would not be allowed into the campus by the security personnel.
“We are all ambassadors of our great vision. You don’t need cult to be successful academically or in life. We will not compromise on decency, rules and regulations governing the University, even, the Vice Chancellor is not above the law”, he said.
He thanked the old students and everyone for their support and for taking part in the walk.
