The overall best graduating student of Lagos State University (LASU) for the 2025/2026 academic session, Adebanjo Samuel Oluolamide, has received a N10 million cash prize for his outstanding academic performance.
Oluolamide, a graduate of Aerospace Engineering, finished with a CGPA of 4.97, earning First-Class Honours at the university’s 29th and 30th combined convocation held on Monday at the Olatunji Bello Auditorium, Epe Campus.
The prize was presented by the Sunbeth Excellence Partnership Programme (SEPP) in recognition of his academic achievement.
“The Sunbeth Excellence Partnership Programme (SEPP) connects top-performing students with real industry opportunities in agriculture, logistics, and energy, Nigeria’s most critical growth sectors,” the organisers wrote on its website.
“SEPP isn’t just an award. It’s your gateway to mentorship, career pathways, and professional development that starts while you’re still in school.”
The award is part of SEPP’s initiative to promote academic excellence and encourage innovation among LASU students through partnerships with corporate organisations.
