KEVIN HART ON KATT WILLIAMS: ‘HE CHOSE DRUGS. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHAT YOU CHOSE’

Kevin Hart’s forthcoming film, Night School, starring Tiffany Haddish is scheduled to be released on September 28th so they’re rightfully out doing a press run.

Ahead of their pre-screening at the 2018 Urban World Film Festival, the duo stopped by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club and talked about their upcoming Malcolm D. Lee-directed film. Of course, they couldn’t leave without addressing Katt Williams’ outburst last week at V103 aimed at Hart, Lil Rel, and many other comedians. However, the most lethal shots were aimed at Haddish, who Williams claims hasn’t proven herself as a comedian and rose to the top by sleeping with white men.

“My frustrations with Katt Williams come from, you keep pointing Hollywood. Hollywood this. The white man. This, this, and this. When do you take responsibility for your actions?” Hart said passionately. “You had the shot. You were the guy. You were set up to be the star. You didn’t show up to work. You f—-d off promo shoots. You f—-d off promo trips that they had set up for you. You became a risk to the studios which is why the studios stopped f—–g with you

Why was he a risk?” Charlamagne Tha God asked. “He chose drugs,” Hart swiftly responded. “Take responsibility for what you chose and say you know what, I gotta fix me and Ima come back and stand up for comedy.”

He continued, “So when you say Tiffany Haddish doesn’t deserve or isn’t really a comedian and these other women have worked hard, which they have. Shoutouts to Melanie Comarcho, shoutouts to Leslie Jones, Luenell, who are all under the umbrella of Katt Williams. Katt Williams, have you ever used your platform to f—–g bring the people under you up? You haven’t!”
