Her results were revealed a day after President Trump’s diagnosis.
Kellyanne Conway, former White House advisor and counselor to President Donald Trump, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, and revealed her diagnosis on Twitter.
On Friday night, Conway tweeted, “Tonight I tested positive for COVID-19. My symptoms are mild (light cough) and I’m feeling fine. I have begun a quarantine process in consultation with physicians. As always, my heart is with everyone affected by this global pandemic.”
Her diagnosis comes only a day after Trump and first lady Melania revealed that they contracted the virus. And while it’s unclear where Conway caught COVID-19, her daughter Claudia suggested in a TikTok video that she may have been exposed during Trump’s Supreme Court nomination of Amy Coney Barrett at the White House on Saturday (Sept. 26).
At the event, she was photographed without a mask and not maintaining social distance while mingling with guests.
Others who attended the outdoor ceremony have also confirmed positive test results — including senators Thom Tillis of North Carolina and Mike Lee of Utah, and University of Notre Dame President Rev. John Jenkins.
