..Varsity now called ADUST
The Kano State Executive Council (SEC) has approved the renaming of Kano State University of Science and Technlogy (KUST), Wudil, as Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUST), Wudil.
Information Commissioner Muhammad Garba announced this yesterday while addressing reporters in Kano.
Garba said the development followed the recommendation by the university’s Visitation Panel.
He added that the approval had been transmitted to the House of Assembly to study the relevant laws establishing the university for requisite amendment.
