The actor won the award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his work in The Revenant at the 88th Annual Academy Awards. This was DiCaprio’s sixth time being nominated.
He has also been recognized with two nominations for his work in The Wolf of Wall Street and one each for Blood Diamond, The Aviator and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape.
