After we published the first article on How to Link Email to JAMB Profile for 2021 Aspirants, some aspirants are still facing issues especially those who used the same phone number or email as that of the previous year.
Below are set of instructions which may provide solutions to the said problem of not being able to link the email or access JAMB CAPs Portal.
- For those who use last year’s number to register for this year; Follow these instructions to access the portal
Visit the JAMB portal https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility
Click on Forgot Password
Enter your last year email address and do forget password (writing the email you used last year in the box), they will send your password to the last year’s email. Go back to the portal and use it to login
Please note that you don’t need to create a new email.
In case you couldn’t access the last year email again, follow the Option 2 below.
- For those who used new number to register for this year’s JAMB and didn’t get their password after sending it through the normal way, sample (Email firstname.lastname@example.org email@example.com).
Send a message to JAMB following the format below
Password firstname.lastname@example.org to 55019 and they will send your password as SMS to the phone.
Ensure you used the same number you registered with to send the SMS.
