Oyeniran Ojo better known as Oj Sax is one of the two major purveyors of hip hop jazz as the nigerian music scene evolved back in the early 2000’s. he actually gave Yemi Sax a run for his money with his ”According To Sax” album back in 2009 to critical acclaim. The jazz album housed jazz versions hit songs way back like ”koni koni Love” by klever Jay, ”Pass me ur love” by Ay.com, ”Shayo” by Durella to mention a few(all were monster hits ruling the airwaves and the streets as at then).
Oj Sax now a gospel musician comes through with ”How great Thou Art’‘ this time around, the hymn is based on a Swedish traditional melody and poem written by Carl Boberg in 1885. the united Kingdom based Saxophonist rehashed the sound with contemporary saxophone rearrangement to suit modern day jazz music production.
