African Voices, the 30-minute magazine programme on CNN, sponsored by grand masters of data, Globacom, will this weekend feature television talk show host and CEO of Ebony Life Television, Nigeria’s Mosunmola Abudu, aka Mo Abudu.
Mo Abudu who is also a human resources management consultant and entrepreneur was described by Forbes as one of Africa’s most successful women. In July, 2013, Mo launched Ebony Life Television which is generally regarded as “Africa’s first Global Black Multi-Broadcast Entertainment Network”.
Also expected on the programme is South African celebrity chef and host of the Food Network show, “Siba’s Table”, Siba Mtongana. She is currently a judge on South Africa’s popular cooking competition “Chopped South Africa”.
Commenting on the two amazons, CNN stated that they were driven by “perseverance, passion, and positivity”, adding that Mo Abudu will take viewers “behind the scenes of her empire to see how she creates content that has audiences in Africa and abroad clamouring for more”.
“Then, we take a peek into the world of South Africa’s biggest celebrity chef and see how she uses her childhood memories of food and South Africa as an inspiration for her recipes”, CNN said.

The programme comes up at 10.30 a.m. on Friday with repeat editions at 2.30 p.m on Saturday, 12.30 a.m, 7.30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Sunday as well as 11.30 p.m. on Monday and 5.30 a.m. on Tuesday.
